Emerson Dameron Warren Defever is an eccentric sonic auteur. The quasi-prog concept album Patterns of Light was possibly his most resolute work to date, and these sketches, wisps, and experiments comprise a fascinating companion piece. The humor, playfulness, and absurdity that always humanized HNIA is right on the surface here. Favorite track: Demonmix (demo).

Brian Lee This one is kind of like the gorgeous and mysterious twin sister to Patterns of Light; a reconciliation of HNIA's past, present, and, perhaps, future. There is a lot to love here! I am particularly fond of the mix tape aesthetic hearkening back to my favorite HNIA releases like Home is in your head, Stars on E.S.P., and Ft. Lake. Favorite track: Cet Air-La (for seraphine).

Andrew Stuart Thank you Ivo (4ad) for signing them and the free sampler tape that introduced them to me all those years ago ... Favorite track: How Ghosts Affect Relationships.
